Oh, would ya look at that.. it’s my face! Smiling as always, but today my smile is as big as ever. “Why are you so happy?” you ask, well, I’ll tell you! I am graduating from the first year of my internship with a local church here in Boise. My oh my, it’s been a long year, pulling me this way and that, but I’ve learned so much about myself and the God I serve!Who is He? Well, He is my freedom. I used to be chained to an addiction and Jesus gave me the key to life. This year I declare that I am not guilty. “Who the Son sets free is free indeed” — John 8:36I know who I am called to be: a leader, an encourager, a fighter for joy, a cheerleader for those who are down and out, and a coordinator when life gets hectic. Did I know this before I went into my internship? No, absolutely not. I had no idea that I had such potential. It wasn’t the internship that made my calling so clear, but God himself. He isn’t dead — He still speaks today and I am so grateful! What’s next for my life? I wish I knew. As for now, my slate is clean and the Lord may do as He pleases. Send me where ever you want me, God! I’m willing and ready. Let me be Your hands and feet; let me love this world the way you have.

Went to Emmett yesterday for my little brothers lacrosse game. The wind was crazy and I kept getting sand in my eyes. I thought having huge eyelashes would prevent that. Guess not! Car pooled with my dearest dears and rocked out to covers all the way home. This is my life and I love every second of it.

Year 20. My oh my, I hope the world is ready to be changed. I will not give up on people this year. I will extended a hand of grace and acceptance to every person I encounter. The light of the world is shining from within and I am going to let it touch people in an exceedingly abundant way. No holding back; no regrets; no mistakes, just perfect timing.

Do you ever just sit in your room alone thinking about how you’re alone? I just did and it’s pretty depressing. But then.. I got this wonderful realization that I’m not really alone. God is with me at all times. How reassuring! Now I’m happy.. *cheers*(This was a pointless post of my face and my feels. Enjoy.)
